For Daily Maintenance To Prevent Scale Build-Up
Add BOILER COMPOUND™ directly into the boiler feed or return system. Follow
recommended established addition rate and factory recommended blow-down
procedures. Variations in dosage might be needed to compensate for varying local wa-
ter conditions.

BOILER COMPOUND is designed to be used in boilers that have been under a regular
water treatment and water-monitoring program. Caution must be used whenever a wa-
ter treatment is introduced into a boiler that has been in operation for some time with
no treatment, as there is a possibility that loosened scale and rust could cause system
problems such as clogged steam traps and contamination of steam. For best results,
water samples from the boiler should be analyzed periodically to assure an adequate
level of treatment is being used. In all cases, BOILER COMPOUND needs to be used in
accordance with BOILER COMPOUND usage instructions and the boiler manufacturer’s
recommended preventative maintenance procedures.
